A bit of ridiculousness on Saint Hubert

Howdy!

I’m certain you know all about the Îlot Voyageur fiasco. Well what I just discovered is that some bright wag at city hall has attempted to put lipstick on a pig! They’ve decided to put some large plastic printing on the side of the unfinished building in a harebrained scheme to try and make it look like nothing is wrong.

  1. I’m pretty sure “they” did this with window decals in parts of New York during the years of the Reagan presidency: abandoned buildings made to look occupied, at least to motorists speeding by.

  2. And the lipstick-ing works !!!
Je parierais que les résidents du coté Est de St Hubert préfèrent cet aspect …

Bon, je retourne à mon livre :-)
